The Story of Stumpy the Christmas Stump

Once upon a Christmas season, a grand evergreen tree was chosen to shine brightly in the Muddy Creek Christmas Lights show. The tree was trimmed and decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, filling the night with sparkle and song.


But when the tree was cut down, something was left behind… a small stump, sitting quietly in the snow. At first, Stumpy thought he would be forgotten. After all, he wasn’t tall and covered in ornaments like the other trees.


But then, as the music played and the lights began to dance, Stumpy felt the Christmas magic too! He wiggled his roots, gave a hearty laugh, and shouted, “Don’t forget about me! I want to be part of the fun!”


From that day on, Stumpy became the heart of the celebration — a cheerful little stump full of holiday spirit who reminds everyone that Christmas is for all, big or small. With a jolly smile and a fun-loving personality, Stumpy joined the extravaganza, making sure no one ever feels left out of the joy, laughter, and light of the season.


Now, every year at Stumpy’s Holiday Spectacular powered by Muddy Creek Christmas Lights, Stumpy welcomes families with open arms (well, as best a stump can!) and spreads cheer to everyone who comes to share in the wonder of Christmas.
